Hey, lovebirds! Since it's the season of love, Niantic's pink Pokemon will be an interesting way to celebrate Valentines Day. So starting today until 7 pm on February 15, Pokemon Go players will receive an abundance of Pink Pokemon to catch.
Everytime players hatch, capture, and transfer Pokemon; a double candy system will be applied. This update gives players a much easier time in evolving their Pokemons. Also, lure modules are extended to last up to 6 hours which means more Pokemon to catch and longer Lure party.
Based on the official statement of Niantic, Pokemon such as Chansey, Clefable, and Porygon will rain in every street worldwide. Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Smoochum will have much higher hatching rate.
Hours after the Pokemon Go Valentine's Day Event goes live, London streets were flooded by Porygon. According to Gizmodo UK, Londoners haven't been able to move for Porygon since 7 PM last night. This is so far the latest news seen after the event goes live. "With Valentine's Day just around the corner, we couldn't think of a sweeter time to double the amount of Candy you'll earn every time you catch, hatch, and transfer Pokémon," says Niantic.
For some, it's an early celebration, but for areas such as Milwaukee County Parks, it's an entirely different story. As reported by Express, Milwaukee Country Parks requires a business permit from Pokemon Go's developer Niantic.
Based on the Milwaukee Ordinance, "Virtual and location-based augmented reality games are not permitted in Milwaukee County Parks except in those areas designated with a permit for such use by the Director of the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Culture (DPRC). Permits shall be required before any company may introduce a location-based augmented reality game into the Parks, effective January 1, 2017."
