The Samsung Galaxy S3 has only been available in stores for around six months, but that isn't stopping experts from releasing rumors about their next device, the Galaxy S4.
A new report out of South Korea is claiming that the next Galaxy smartphone will hit the markets in April 2013 according to the Enuri website. The report claims that Samsung wants to release the new smartphone with similar features to its Note series, so it will probably be released with with S Pen functionality.
"The need to look after an extra piece of technology, and a small and easy-to-loose one at that, might be quite off-putting to some users," said a Redmond Pie report.
If the rumors are true, expect a 5-inch HD display screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution. The device is also rumored to have a bigger body that the S3, coming in at around 9.1mm. This would contradict the previous rumor that the S4 would be smaller than the S3.
Expect the new device to include a 13 megapixel camera and it will most likely be powered by EXYNOS 5440 quad-core processor. The Galaxy S4 is also rumored to use Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie software according to a video released on Rozetked.ru.
As you can see in the video, a projection laser keyboard dock will be included for the new device. Essentially what this means is the phone will project a keyboard in front of the user so that you can type like you would on a laptop of desktop keyboard to search on the web or send text messages.
The first model numbers have also been released by Samsung according to a report by SamMobile. The article stated that the new Samsung devices will be known as the Samsung GT 19500 and Samsung GT-19505.
At the moment this is all speculation as nothing has been confirmed by Samsung yet. The company will most likely hold a launch event closer to the release date.
