As if the awesome specs of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe isn't enough to get fans excited, new spy photos of the car have recently been leaked. A lightly camouflaged prototype of the coupe has recently been spotted at the Mercedes' cold weather test facility in Arctic Circle.
Mercedes' flagship of the GLC Coupe line-up is expected to make its global debut during the last quarter of 2017. The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 is scheduled to be on sale for early 2018.
Of course, the coupe in being tested is camouflaged lightly, obscuring its face. According to reports, its front appearance is likely to mirror the C 63 Coupe - complete with the blacked-out mesh grille and silver doubled louvers.
It is also expected to feature a chrome-studded 'black diamond' grille which just screams luxury. Speculations suggest it could also adopt the C 63 Coupe's twin-decked splitter and large lower air intakes.
Its rear was also camouflaged to keep its bumper's appearance a secret. Experts suggest it could be highly similar to the C63 Coupe's. Aside from those parts, fans can see most of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe's exterior including its quad exhaust. Its quad exhaust is very much different from the GLC 43 Coupe's rounded tailpipes, as shown in the photos.
As it was being tested at Mercedes' cold facility, the vehicle was wearing mismatched 20-inch snowshoes. In front was a five-spoke alloy with black and high sheen finish. At the rear are five-point star rims. Under the hood, it's powered by the 375kW/700Nm version of AMG's 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8.
On other news, Mercedes revealed its plans for the future of the company. Car Magazine UK published this statement from the carmaker: "Within five years we'll have a whole family of EVs. By 2025, 15-25% of the Mercedes range will be fully electric. Add in PHEVs [plug-in hybrid electric vehicles], and they'll make up 50% of our range."
With this in mind, fans are looking forward to what Mercedes can bring to the table. And the excitement starts from the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe's release. Watch the video below to see the beauty of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63.
