Late last year, Aston Martin announced an addition to its existing line of luxurious and powerful grand tourers, the 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish S. This coupe has been given a refreshed looked and an "S" badge.
The facelifted version received an "S" badge that is used for higher-performance models. But for Aston Martin's specs, this stands for the mid-cycle upgrades for their vehicles. The 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish S got a new facelift which is notable on the exterior and is packed with a powerful engine.

There is no question that the Vanquish S is fast thanks to its 5.9-liter V-12 engine. It has an output of 580 horses and 465 lb-ft of torque, although this is 20 horses less compared with the twin-turbocharged V-12 in the DB11. The engine delivers power to rear wheels vi an 8-speed automatic transmission.
According to TopSpeed, the limited-edition Vanquish Zagato has the exact same output as that of the Vanquish S. This means that the company placed the specs of the Zagato under the hood of the Vanquish. This certainly is not too bad. The carmaker claims that the 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish S can his 3.5 seconds for the 0-62mph with a stop speed of 201 mph.
Inside this facelifted coupe is an interior of the same variety with only a few significant upgrades. The seats are adorned with dark leather matched with contrast stitching. A "Vanquish S" embroidery sits on the headrest. A satin "Chopped Carbon Fiber" fascia encloses the buttons and knobs on the center stack that now has a cool and fresh finish.
Also, the 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish S is equipped with an Ami III infotainment system. Plus, it comes with a 6.5-inch LCD screen, DAB radio, AM/FM radio, sat nav, and of course Bluetooth. The navigation system has been upgraded from the previously utilized 2005-ish Volvo system, according to CarAndDriver.
When it comes to the exterior, it is not that extensive except for the fact that Aston Martin did make the Vanquish S stand out. The new aerodynamic package is the most notable change of the vehicle. This is inclusive of a front splitter and rear diffuser which was made from exposed carbon fiber.
The 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish S will be on sale for 2 to 3 years before being replaced with a newly refreshed grand tourer that is based on the DB11, which is expected to arrive late 2018 or early 2019. In terms of pricing, the Vanquish is certainly a bit pricey compared with the DB11.
The coupe is priced at $297,775, while the Volante, topless Vanquish S, comes at $315,775. 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish S will hit stores by April 2017.
