If you've been waiting to purchase an Apple phone until the price is more affordable, your patience may finally pay off. Best Buy revealed today that all iPhone products will be on sale through Best Buy for a limited time.
Click here to take advantage of the discount on the Best Buy website. The site warns people that there's a two phone limit per person.
All iPhone 5 devices will now be sold for $150, which is $50 cheaper than the normal price. At retail cellphone stores like Verizon and Sprint, customers can usually expect to pay $200 for a 16Gb version of the newest Apple phone.
The discount is not expected to last long however, which is bad news for those who are waiting for the iPhone 5S to be released. The price decrease is most likely Apple's way of trying to capitalize on the holiday season. All iPhone 4S devices will also be available for as low as $50 you agree to a two-year contract.
The $50 deduction is currently the best discount offered for the iPhone 5 since it was released in September. Target reportedly offered the phone for $180 with a two-year contract recently, which is $20 cheaper than the asking price.
It is currently unknown how long the offer will last, but according to VentureBeat.com, it may end around January. Interested customers can take advantage of the discount online or at Best Buy retail stores. The store will only ship Verizon and Sprint models of the phones out, if you want one from a different provider like AT &T, you'll have to pick it up at your closest Best Buy store.
This is the second promotion Best Buy has done recently to help sell iPhone devices, as they offered a $25 gift card to whomever purchased an iPhone 5 at Best Buy last week according to GottaBeMobile.com. The current deal essentially replaces the gift card, but those who ordered a phone last week could have a shot at getting the money refunded if they decide they don't want the gift card.
