Skoda has just begun selling its 2017 Octavia series on Jan. 25. The new family wagon comes in various spec levels and has earned some facelifting and engine upgrades.
The revisions on the new Octavia focused more on the front and rear aspects where the grille became more angular and the new headlights are now full LED. On the other hand, the engine now extends to nine engines with 1.0 and 2.0-liter variants, Autocar reported.

The 2017 Skoda Octavia comes in various spec levels, depending on the client's needs and preferences. Next to the base S is the SE model which sports the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, front fog lights, cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, and the chrome door handles. This model also has more driving support like the driver personalization, driver fatigue sensor and rear parking sensors.
A little level up model is the SE Technology, which has personalized cruise control, Wi-Fi connectivity and the Amundsen eight-inch touchscreen navigation system. Its driving support also comes with the parking sensors at the front and rear.
Next to the SE Technology is the SE L model which has better interiors like the Alcantara and leather upholstery. It also has full LED headlights, a gloss black front grille and sunset glass at the rear.
Clients who prefer the sassy Octavia can avail of the Laurin and Klement model which features better heating system like heated steering wheel and the heated front seats. The infotainment system offers Canton sound system and the 9.2-inch Columbus system. It also has a driving support system like the lane assist and the park assist. It has ergonomically designed driver's seat which has lumbar support and is electrically adjustable.
For the sporty ones, they might like the Scout model which is designed towards off-roading like 4x4. It also has the special edition Alcantara and leather upholstery plus full LED headlights. Whereas those who are sportier would opt to buy the vRS model which has sport seats and gears for the DSG transmission, Recombu has noted.
The 2017 Skoda Octavia price begins at $21,600 (£17,055) to $38,000 (£30,025). The lower models have started selling on Jan. 25 while Scout and vRS models are still yet to be released by the end of the first quarter of 2017. Which Octavia model would you like to have?
