Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will soon be passing on her crown to her successor. The Philippines is excited to take part in what is known to be the most beautiful day in the world on Jan. 29, 2017 as the pageant is broadcasted live from the country through FOX. Wurtzbach is known to one of the most elegant Miss Universe winners so it is fitting for her to have an elegant car like the 2017 Audi A8.
Coincidence or not, the German car suits Wurtzbach as she is half-Filipino and half-German. Not only that, but the 2017 Audi A8 is one elegant ride which fits her personality in more ways than one.
According to Top Gear, Wurtzbach was lent an Audi A8 full-size sedan for her engagements on her many trips back in her home country, the Philippines. She used the A8 as she did the courtesy call to the then Philippine President, Benigno Aquino Jr. as well as receiving a Citation of Excellence from politicians in the Philippine Senate.

The Audi A8 used during her trip back to the Philippines has a newer and more updated version in 2017 Audi A8. According to Car Magazine, the 2017 Audi A8 is called the Project D5. It is still under wraps but from leaks and other insider information, it is sure to keep car enthusiasts and loyal Audi fans in utter excitement and anticipation.
The 2017 Audi A8 or Project D5 breaks new ground in more ways than one. It adds more modular construction to the Audi spaceframe or ASF and fuses architecture with the group's MLB Evo platform.
It also brings in fresh content such as three levels of autonomous driving and advanced infotainment. It refocuses on driving dynamics and lets Audi reinvent MMI. It also has low-friction lightweight Quattro all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic which are all standard on all A8 models.
Just like the 2017 Audi A8, outgoing Ms. Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach broke new ground during her year-long reign. She championed her advocacy for HIV/AIDS as she traveled the world to promote awareness and seek additional funding. She also was the most visible because of her social media posts and TV appearances making her break the beauty queen stereotype for being distant and reserved.
