The Aventador remains Lamborghini’s top production model. There is a lot of technology in this car and in many ways, Aventador could represent the ultimate evolution of the supercar as automakers look to advanced powertrains combining electric motors and gasoline engines to supply power moving forward.
According to Huffington Post, the aesthetics are second to none on this car. This vehicle resembles a fighter jet, the angles cut ever so sharply, the LED lights just beam pure evil and the spoiler provides some insane downforce and the single clutch gearbox. Lamborghini knows all the tricks, it takes exhilaration to an all new high. Changing gears feels like receiving whiplashes for committing something that was illegal followed by a neck breaking 50-millisecond gearshift that sends the biggest bang through your nervous system. Lamborghini has provided its fans with one of the rawest naturally aspirated supercars on the market. It retains a classic mechanical feel to its drive experience while also possessing the brawn vigour people have come to love from the Aventador. Aventador’s V12 6.5-liter motor will be forever remembered as one of the greatest soundings, pain enduring and fire flame throwing engines in history.
There has been a tremendous change at Lamborghini over the past two years, according to Motor Authority including a confirmation of production of the Urus SUV, the expansion into international motorsport via GTE competition and the replacement of the long-serving CEO Stephan Winkelmann. The most recent change is a shakeup in the automaker’s naming strategy. Lamborghini is taking a breather by introducing only a limited number of changes for the 2017 model year. For those who want to visit one of the automaker’s showrooms, they can expect to see 2017 Lamborghini Huracan, Hardcore model which is expected to be introduced for 2018, 2017 Lamborghini Aventador, Aventador S with revised looks and more power being introduced for 2018 and 2017 Lamborghini Centenario with production limited to 20 coupes and 20 roadsters.
