Mercedes-Benz purchased an advertisement spot for the 2013 Super Bowl this week and has already confirmed super model Kate Upton will star in the 60 second commercial.
The blonde bombshell has been modeling since 2008 after attending a casting call with IMG Models, who then signed her the same day according to her website. Upton is known for her modeling work for companies like Dooney & Bourke and Victoria Secret.
Upton appeared in the 2011 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, winning SI's Swimsuit Model Rookie of the Year award for her efforts. A year later she graced the cover of the Swimsuit Issue, an honor most swimsuit models aspire for.
She has also appeared on the cover of magazines such as the American and Italian versions of Vogue magazine. Upton has appeared in two movies since becoming famous, most recently appearing in "The Three Stooges" as Sister Bernice.
This is the second Super Bowl commercial Upton will be featured in as she previously appeared in an advertisement for Carl's Jr. and Hardee's Southwest Patty Melt sandwich. The advertisement was later banned in the U.S. for being too "revealing" according to company representatives.
"(The commercial) will be a tongue-in-cheek depiction of how far a person might-or might not-go to get their heat's desire," according to Mercedes-Benz representatives.
Mercedes-Benz confirmed to The New York Post that Upton won't be driving a car in the advertisement however, as she doesn't have her own driver's license.
Pop-singer Usher is also set to appear in the advertisement in some fashion, though he also won't be driving the Mercedes-Benz vehicle either.
