Nissan revealed this week that they will be revising their GT-R road racer for 2013 and promised "more power and control" compared to the 2012 edition.
The 2012 model debuted this past March and helped the company achieve racing victories on tracks all-around the world. The car competed in races like the Super GT series, Super Taikyu, British GT Championship and GT Cup, performing well in each race.
According to the company press release, the GT-R GT3 will include rear-wheel drive, a VR38DETT engine again and a 3.8-liter twin-turbo motor. The motor helps the racer achieve 543 HP, which is good news for fans of the previous model. The car also includes a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential.

The biggest change that motorists should expect out of the vehicle is the new aerodynamic system. The updated car now has a bigger front fender and engineers have also moved the positioning and angle according to Automobile Magazine of the rear spoiler.
The suspension settings for the wheels on the vehicle has also been changed, as has the brake force circulation to make sure the car moves at a balanced speed when using the brake pedal.
The company has modified the engine slightly by forming a new VCT technology for the 2013 model which should give the car more power and make it last longer than the previous model. The improved technology should help the GT3 achieve 520 horsepower.
Orders for the car began Nov. 13 and will be manufactured on demand.
