Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Jon Bon Jovi will headline a telethon for victims of Hurricane Sandy tonight. The one-hour show will be broadcasted live from NBC studios to collect money for the American Red Cross.
"Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" will run similar to the 2005 telethon held for Hurricane Katrina victims. The event earned over $50 million in donations according to CNN.
The telethon is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. on NBC and will also be broadcasted on USA Network, MSNBC, HBO, CNBC, E! and Bravo. The show can also be heard on Sirius XM satellite radio's E Street Radio channel.

"This was a total no-brainer," said a NBC source privy to the show's planning according to The Chicago Sun-Times. "Everyone was so anxious to jump on board to help as much as they could."
Springsteen and Bon Jovi both hail from New Jersey and have been outspoken about the events that have occurred on the east coast this past week.
"We wish you a happy Halloween, but we are a rock 'n' roll band from the Jersey Shore, and tonight we carry a lot of sadness in our hearts," said Springsteen at one point during a concert on Wednesday before singing "My City of Ruins" according to fan site Backstreets. "This was originally a song about my adopted hometown struggling to get on its feet, it struggled for 25 years, a quarter century, while we watched for Asbury to come back. And we are very proud to say over the past decade, it has risen up and flourished in a way I wasn't ever sure I'd see in my lifetime. And it will do so again!"
Bon Jovi's Jersey home and restaurant were badly damaged from Sandy, but the musician was not in town when the storm hit due to promotional work for his British tour this coming week. He cut the trip short to come home and deal with the damage.
"The family house in New Jersey was also hit quite badly and he needs to go back to assess the damage and what can be salvaged," a source close to the musician said to Spinner Magazine.
Hurricane Sandy's death toll has reached 90 as of Thursday night, including 40 in N.Y. and 14 in N.J. alone according to The Patriot News. Almost 9 million homes and businesses were without power at some point this week on the east coast because of the storm.
"Today" show's Matt Lauer will be hosting the event live from NBC's Rockefeller Plaza studios, which will also feature performances by Sting and Christina Aguilera. News anchor Brian Williams and comedian Jimmy Fallon will be appearing as well. Tickets will not be sold to the general public for the event
