Katy Perry is making sure she does all she can to influence her fans to go out and vote this coming November.
The singer performed for over 13,000 fans on Wednesday night to close out the first day of Obama's 48-hour campaign tour. The pop-singer performed a free concert at the event located in Las Vegas at around 9 p.m. according to the Associated Press.
Perry wore a skin-tight customized dress at a rally for President Barak Obama on Wednesday, which was imprinted to look like a ballot. A large square box could be found on the dress right near her right hip with the names Obama and Joe Biden printed next to them.
I guess it isn't hard to figure out who she'll be voting for this November.
Perry, who turned 28 earlier this week, successfully got people to come out early to the rally, as she performed for 30 minutes before Obama even arrived.
Her set list for the event included a cover of Al Green's hit "Let's Stay Together" and five songs from her multiplatinum album "Teenage Dream" which was released in 2010.
This is the second time Perry has supported Obama through a dress, as she wore a bright yellow one to the MTV Europe Awards when he was running the first time in 2008. Obama successfully won the election, and the singer urged her fans to make sure their voice was heard come November.
"Don't wait. Go tomorrow," Perry said. "How many of you are 18 here? It's going to be your first time, right?"
Obama then came out to speak to the crowd, who stated that being in Las Vegas to talk to the people who showed up was just as important as the national debates which ended earlier this week.
The stop in Vegas was Obama's fourth stop of the day according to ABC News.
"I need you guys to go out and vote now. Don't wait to vote," Obama said. "You gotta go cash in your chips now."
