The Taiwanese company recently announced their ultimate gaming laptops at the big trade show event in Las Vegas this week. Acer unveiled the Predator 21 X Notebook and Predator 17 X Gaming Notebook. Both are packed with high edge upgrades, and slick design suited for hot gamers out there. Also, the company rolled affordable gaming notebooks which are VR Ready.
The Acer Predator 21 X Notebook comes with a slick curved design. It features Tobii eye tracking, dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphic cards in SLI mode. Also, a overclocked 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor.
The Acer Predator 21 X Notebook is packed with 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory which sums up to four 512 GB state drives in RAID 0 configuration and a 7200 RPM hard drive reaching up to 2TB capacity. The Acer Predator 21 X Notebook is set to be released February and will cost $9,000.
Furthermore, The Acer Predator 17 X Gaming Notebook receives a huge upgrade through incorporating new models of 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7820HK processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. The Acer Predator 17 X Gaming Notebook has 8GB GDDR5X video memory and 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory. For Acer Predator 17 X Gaming Notebook, price starts at $2,600 and availability will soon be determined.
Acer unveiled other gaming notebooks that are more affordable compared to the Predator models. The company upgraded its Aspire V Nitro version laptop by incorporating the 7th gen Intel Core i7-7820HK processors, Nvidia GeForce 1060 or 1050 graphics, and Tobii eye-tracking with up to 16GB of RAM. Also, Aspire V Nitro will now feature a USB-C port, fingerprint sensor, and UHD display with 3,840 x 2,160 options. Aspire V Nitro price starts at $1,199.
The Acer VX is the cheapest from the latest Acer release. With starting price of $799, the Acer XV is packed with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU. It is also packed with 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD and the Core i7-7700HQ CPU. But Acer VX is a little bit of a disadvantage since it runs in a much lower GPU compare to other releases.
