There wasn't a model release for the franchise last year. However, it was recently announced that the Mirage will be back in the market by next year and will be under the GT label. In fact, the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage GT Hatchback will be a sub-compact vehicle which will be significantly smaller than its market competition.
Ford Fiesta vs Mitsubishi Mirage

Russo also claimed that the Mitsubishi Mirage GT Hatchback had better handling features with its torsion beam axle suspension. Although it was built for comfort and not for speed, the brake discs were likewise improved and the car's interior impressive due to its sound-proof feature.
