Communist resisted naming a French street in Halley Freysinnet for Steve Jobs, suggested Ada Lovelace instead. Halle Fresysinnet is an old train station date back 1929, which developers converted into a tech start-up incubator. It will open next year with over 1000 small businesses, and one of the surrounding streets is set to be named Steve Jobs Road (or Rue Steve Jobs).

Other roads setup to be named after Alan Turing, a British scientist and codebreaker, Ada Lovelace a UK Mathematician, Grace Murray Hopper a US computing pioneer, Eugene Freysinnet, Thomas Edison an American inventor and businessman, George Gershwin an American composer and pianist, and Ben Franklin one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.

But recently the plans of the mayor, Jérôme Coumet of naming the street after Steve Jobs has encountered some oppositions, especially from the French communists and suggested Ada Lovelace, instead, saying that it is more inline with the values of the French society.

They opposed the idea because of Apple's tax dodging in Europe, mistreating the Chinese contractors by suffering "inadequate" and "forced overtime." The mayor says on his Twitter account, "Steve Jobs is not a perfect man but has changed our daily lives by popularizing the computer, mouse, and the smartphones."

This breaking news left followers different opinions. One follower left a comment saying why not Linda Lovelace? One of the followers of Gizmodo website stated, "naming a street after Steve Jobs is a great idea if you want to celebrate Marketing Technology."

Some of the followers of Dailymail website are also giving their different points of views. Michelle, from Long-Beach CA USA, says, "I'm pretty sure Steve Jobs was a liberal in his time. The left is jus social cannibals." Though, it was answered by one of they called leftist stating, "leftist here. No, we are not."
