With the release of the Consumer Report under the 2016 Annual Auto Reliability Survey, they discovered two main features of modern cars causing major complaints by car owners and subscribers of the publication. The advent of advanced infotainment systems and enhanced fuel-efficient multispeed transmissions commonly seen in modern car models brought complaints to car owners.
Car companies produce their own infotainment interfaces for their modern cars. Some were more user-friendly compared to others. But most of them are found to have glitches. Some do not work properly and others freeze up which can be frustrating to car owners especially those who are not familiar with advanced technology.
Regarding the additional feature of fuel-efficient multispeed transmissions found in modern cars manufactured in the recent years, the additional 7-, 8-, and 9-speed units in the new models, when paired with the enhanced engine management systems, there is considerable smooth action when driving. However, some car owners experience technical difficulties, to their dismay, when their sophisticated multiple transmission gears do not work properly.
Modern cars and enhancement features will continue to advance for the coming years. Car companies promise car owners for more high-tech and refined modern cars per customer demand.
