This week, The CW released Supergirl's official poster --- along with 3 other posters from The Flash, Arrow, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow --- from the most-awaited 'Invasion!' crossover event. 'The Supergirl' official 'Invasion!' crossover event poster shows a mystery portal, which hints major changes on the show due to The Flash's creation of Flashpoint.
The poster shows Martian Manhunter behind Supergirl and a Dominator on the far right of the poster, who is deemed as a villain on DC's Legion of Superheroes, as reported on COMICBOOK/DC.
Will this mean major changes on the show's timeline, as well as after the most-awaited crossover event? It seems so as the portal is a strong indication of Flashpoint's creation on The Flash's Season 3 pilot episode.
It also seems that Supergirl's relationships might significantly change as well, depending on which timeline and Earth version she's going to be in. If you are also watching The Flash, you might recall how Barry Allen's relationships with everyone around him changed when he created "Flashpoint". Aside from that, there were also major changes on each Flash character, specifically on Caitlin Snow (as elaborated on this week's episode of The Flash) and even Wally West.
There are also more things to watch out for as the portal not only refers to timelines being change, but also other worlds or more specifically --- other Earth versions ---- intertwining with the current Earth version.
'Medusa', the Supergirl episode, starts on November 28, Monday. Then, The Flash 'Invasion!' kicks off the following day, November 29. Arrow's episode, which is also entitled 'Invasion!' too airs next on Wednesday, November 30. Concluding the series of crossover episodes, DC's Legends of Tomorrow crossover episode which is also titled 'Invasion!' gets aired on December 1, according to Supergirl's blog post.
Indeed, the approaching crossover mania offers one-of a kind surprise to 'The CW' channel's audiences.
Who do you think among the new characters in the poster will you root for?
