"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is getting a lot of buzz as its premier date comes sooner and Nissan wants to ride in the momentum as it unveils a limited edition rogue one inspired Nissan Rogue at the recently concluded 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The 2016 LA Auto Show showed a lot of exclusive world firsts debut for the US maket, prototypes that anticipate future releases and limited edition cars, as in this case, fans of the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas will enjoy the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" inspired Nissan rogue.
Created from the collaboration between Nissan and Lucasfillm, only 5,400 units of this Star wars edition Nissan Rogue will be produced. Of the 5,400 units will be manufactured, 5,000 dealers will have as destination the United States , while the remaining 400 will be marketed in Canada. Each will feature an exclusive and numbered collector 's replica life - size helmet "Death Trooper" soldiers which have been popular in the "Star Wars: Order of the Empire" according to USAToday.
This limited edition incorporates the Sun and Sound Touring package which adds panoramic moonroof and Bose audio system and will be available both with front wheel drive and all wheel drive. It will be available only in two colors: Black and White Magnetic Glacier and will also be equip with standard LED headlights.
Aesthetically, it is obvious that this is not a conventional 2017 Nissan Rogue. It presents differentiators such as stickers with the logo "Galactic Empire" or pillar D of "Rebel Alliance". In the rear bumper protector Star Wars logo and the distinctive Rogue One in the front doors are shown. All this combined with lower grille and trim in black color.
Inside, the sides are illuminated with Star Wars logo and the logos of the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. The interior will be exclusively available in black color as it gives tribute to "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story"
Just like the ordinary 2017 Nissan Rogue, it will be powered by a motor DOHC 2.5 - liter 16v four - cylinder engine that yields 170 hp and 175 Nm of torque associated with the transmission Nissan Xtronic new generation driving modes Sport and Eco according to CarandDriver.
