Following a shocking brand split that cropped up earlier this year, the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. decided the upcoming pay-per-view, Survivor Series 2016 will be a twofold brand event showcasing superstars from both RAW as well as SmackDown Live. With the much-awaited event just around the corner, here's how the match card looks at the moment.
Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar
After a hiatus of 12 years, Bill Goldberg is finally making his way back to the WWE for one more match thanks to the WWE 2K17 deal. Apparently, Goldberg is doing this for his son, who never got an opportunity to watch his father wrestle earlier in his career. Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is a rematch from WrestleMania XX; however, it is being endorsed with a tagline "fantasy warfare gets real."
Men's elimination match - Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown Live
Team RAW will comprise of Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, and Kevin Owens.
Team SmackDown Live, on the other hand, will be represented by Shane McMahon, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, and "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles, according to Cageside.
Women's elimination match - Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown Live
Team RAW will be represented by Sasha Banks, Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Bayley, and Charlotte.
Team SmackDown Live will have Naomi, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, and Nikki Bella representing the brand. While these seem to be equally matched teams, Inquisitr predicts that Team RAW will emerge victoriously.

Shining Stars, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, Sheamus & Cesaro, Enzo & Big Cass, and The New Day will be representing Team RAW.
Meanwhile, Team SmackDown Live will be represented by Breezango, American Alpha, The Usos, The Hype Bros, and the team of Heath Slater & Rhyno.
