2018 C7 Corvette ZR1 Spy Photos and Videos
In recent weeks they have been a few occasions that multiple model test cars of the C7 Corvette have been hunted on the open road. There's a convertible version spied on the highway, there's also the initial prototype with unprecedented rear wing configuration and a test car that has a huge spoiler and an aggressive front.
This time, spy photographers have had the opportunity to capture all this element in detail, in what appear a new test car of the model which is more done and probably ready for its debut.
The new rear spoiler is not only larger, but their forms are more complex. It is arranged on higher masts, and has wing - shaped inverted at its ends, with its central area located lower, being topped by two vertical planes. The presence of this huge rear wing might suggest a possible track-only version and a more radical Corvette ZR1 to the simple model.
The spied Corvette C7 also has this great spoiler that does not seem to differ from test mules seen so far, having the same body panels and identical tires. The obvious bulge at the center of the front hood can also be easily spotted which looks the same as the previous ZR1 generation. In the same way, now the brake calipers appear blue, as the C6 ZR1 available, which was nicknamed 'The Blue Devil'.
In these same video reported by GMAAuthority, one can also intuit the new nose design, which seems to have new air intakes, more aggressive look and oversized with respect to the current C7 range. Although this is not conclusive, given the enormous amount of camouflage it carries.
