The Bugatti Chiron still leads supreme in the automotive world. With its beastly 1500hp and stunning engineering, no other car on the planet can compare to its power. But this recent video of Bugatti leads tester Pierre-Henri Raphanel shows people that the Chiron is not all about power but comfort as well. It is so easy to drive it that Raphanel holds the steering wheel with one hand, two fingers and even goes completely hands-free.
Watch the awesome performance of the Bugatti Chiron below.
Bugatti Chiron Power
With so much power, one would think to drive the 1500hp Bugatti Chiron, which sells at $2.5 million is not easy to use, but that is far from reality as it is too easy to start driving this supercar. In fact, launching the car seems just as easy as a Toyota Corolla, according to Carscoops.
Theoretically, because now no one has yet dared to try, the Bugatti Chiron can reach 458 km/h top speed. It is the most powerful production car ever marketed and one of the fastest car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h together with its brother then Veyron. Only a few supercars like the Koenigsegg can probably compete with the speed of the Chiron.
Bugatti Chiron Hands-Free Driving Option
On the outside, the Chiron is definitely a beast but on the inside, the Chiron is like an overly lavish that hugs its owner and gives it maximum comforts, according to AutoEvolution.
Anyone can squeeze its 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers and reach high speeds and the level of security is just surreal allowing anyone to explore Chiron's stratospheric performance. This was also the case with the Veyron, the driver can crush the accelerator without fear that its four gigantic tires (285/30 R20 front and 355/25 R21 rear) lose traction.
In the video below you can see how the tester head of Bugatti demonstrates to a buyer of Chiron how easy it is to launch the vehicle despite its wild performance. So easy that Raphanel did drive the Chiron hands-free. And not just when it completes the transition from zero to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, the Bugatti Chiron also has stable braking at the limit as you can see in the video.
Semi-automated speeding is becoming a trend nowadays. Two other examples of an almost hands-free driving experience are shown by Tesla Model S P100D and the Koenigsegg delivered a demonstration as well a few months ago like the Chiron but were held on public roads, though.
