The Tesla Model S Racing Version
Agustin Paya, the director of GT Electric Holdings has extensive experience in projects with electric vehicles and has competed in the Dakar with a model of these characteristics, has been responsible for developing the first racing version of the Tesla Model S P85 + .
The Tesla Model S with its more than 400 hp is a perfect base for a vehicle of this type, which propulsion system will remain intact but now has a specific aerodynamic kit crowned with a large spoiler and the cabin has been reduced to a minimum, keeping only the essential elements and equipping many own components of the competition. The result is a Tesla Model S P85 + that has been seen for the first time in the GT Electric trailer . At first glance you can also see a silhouette that has completely changed, resulting in a model that could ver well be a GT3, but electric.
According to Paya, he has chosen the Tesla Model S because it is one of the best vehicles that have ever made, especially considering it is 100 % electric.
"We are confident that soon more brands might be interested in joining the championship because of the Tesla Model S, and soon it could take the form of a World Series like the Formula E," said Paya.
