The Renault Zoe electric vehicle has been confirmed to do testing in Wuhan, China by next month to finalize the car's features. Before the test drive, it has already been deemed improved with respect to its capacity to run 250 miles on a full charge. Will the same values be recorded come testing time?
Last 2014, the Dongfeng Renault Automobile Co. was established as a joint venture to create EV vehicles that would power the future. With the collaboration, the Renault Zoe was created.
Testing To Occur In China
According to Auto Blog, the Renault Zoe was expected to run 200 miles while it's fully charged in public roads. However, an updated report suggested that the automakers have improved its capacity to run 250 miles instead of 200 miles.
With that said, an autonomous-driving testing has been scheduled to occur in Wuhan, China by next month for the Renault Zoe. It was deemed to run 1.5 miles of road into the city's Caidian district. The area mentioned usually houses tremendous traffic which would make the vehicle test out its limits of liability with respect to its capacity to run on a full charge.
The Specs
According to My Renault Zoe, the best provider of electric mobility and the market leader in the European market for EV automobiles, the carmaker announced the Renault Zoe to run for 400 km NEDC range which could be convertible to 300km when ran in real conditions.
The vehicle has been installed with the updated ZE 40 battery which will be featured at the Paris Motor Show later this month. Such was said to be the Flex ZE 40 package which features an adjustable mileage for private customers only.
