Nissan confirms the arrival of a new top-end mechanical for their 2017 Nissan X-Trail SUV or Nissan Rogue SUV, a 2.0-liter diesel that will output 190hp. This new version will also come with new developments such as a facelift as well as cutting edge technology, including semi-autonomous driving system.
Buyers Want More
In addition to some cosmetic changes, the 2017 Nissan X-Trail will be more powerful than ever thanks to its new engine. It is not surprising that Nissan decided it's time to give their SUV a boost as customers are requesting for it.
According to James Wright, the Vice President of Nissan Europe East, more than 40 percent of customers who buy the X-Trail chooses the highest version of equipment and power, which is the Tekna with 130hp performance on diesel engine and customers are still asking for more power. So a new top version is a commercially logical step.
The upgrade in the engine is also due to the recent upgrades of the X-Trail's competitors. Its rivals, which is the Skoda Kodiaq with 187hp and the Hyundai Santa Fe with 190hp, far exceeds its recent power but with the new engine, the 2017 Nissan X-trail can now compete greatly.

Other changes of the 2017 Nissan X-trail are not confirmed yet. But a recent photo leak of the Nissan X-Trail surface in the internet showing a restyling and some aesthetic changes. The facelifted Nissan X-Trail will have a fresher face with a new main grille and chrome in major parts of it.
