The brand new Porsche 911 SC was said to be created not to satisfy the brand's pursuits but to pay tribute to the legendary film actor, Steve McQueen. In fact, it was revealed that the make and model had defied the norms on how Porsche units are made.
Steve McQueen was the famous actor during the early years who was known to drive the latest and fastest car models during his time. Others also call him as the classic version of the late Brian Connors actor, Paul Walker.
According to MSN, the brand new 911 SC Porsche was created for the purpose of being a tribute to the legendary actor. The news revealed that the car was a joint effort of both Bisimoto and McKenna Porsche to serve as an homage to McQueen. In fact, Founder and Chief Engineer at Porsche, Bisi Ezeriohia, revealed that the car's make and model are something that McQueen would definitely drive today.

The car's exterior also obviously pointed out that the Porsche 911 SC was made particularly for McQueen since it was embossed, front and center, with the number 48 - the actor's signature racing number in his movie during the 1960's. Entitled "Le Mans," the movie which was also a tribute to the actor, Michael Delaney rode the same Porsche 911 model as well with the same iconic number.

In other news, CNET reported that the brand new Porsche 911 is priced at $89,400 in base price a was shown during the Euro Auto Show. It is a rear wheel drive coupe that runs on 23 MPG, can seat a total of four people, and is turbocharged with a flat 6-cylinder engine.
