Reports on Wednesday announced that Victoria Gotti, the late mob boss John Gotti's daughter, was visited by Federal agents. Voctoria's Long Island home as well as an auto-parts store in Queens was raided by the Feds.
According to Perez Hilton the auto shop is owned by Victoria's ex, Carmine Agnello. The business is currently being run by Victoria and Carmine's three children as the latter is currently serving time in jail and awaiting trial on racketeering charges.
Aside from being the daughter of a mob boss, the 53-year-old is also known for starring in the A&E reality show Growing Up Gotti, which also stars here three sons, John, Carmine and Frank. The Long Island mansion was featured several times in the show, some luxuries of which includes a tennis court, a four-car garage, and even a pool with waterfalls.
It's said that the search warrant for the auto-parts shop and the mansion was executed from the Brooklyn US Attorney's Office. According to sources, it was part of an ongoing probe, but the reasons of the search remain private.
However, the New York Daily News hinted that the searches might have something to do with tax fraud as the one overseeing the case is a federal prosecutor from that department. But, the three sons who are still living at home seem to be the target of the probe rather than Victoria according to a source.
Their detained father, Carmine Agnello, is a member of the Gambino family, which is notorious for having organized various crime activities in the US. Victoria's late father, "The Dapper Don", raised her in Howard Beach, Queens while he ran the Gambino crime family.
What's intriguing is that this is actually the second time that a Gotti home has been raided. Just last month Victoria's Howard Beach Home was also raided by authorities where the 23-year-old John Gotti (named after his grandfather) was arrested on drug charges.
