Mercedes-Benz tops the list in customer satisfaction according to a survey conducted by the 2012 Prospect Satisfaction Index (PSI).
Acura, Infiniti and Lexus follow closely behind. In all, 24 of 34 auto brands have dramatically improved their prospect of satisfaction scores from 2011 to 2012.
Sitting at the bottom of the survye were: Jeep, Kia, Porsche, Suzuki and Mitsubishi. The survey was organized in joint venture with the Pied Piper Management Company in Monterey, California.
Mercedes led in 60 separate sales activtiy categories measured by the Pied Piper. The index of the survey points out that salespersons at Subaru, Buick and Volkswagen dealerships were 50 percent more likely to offer their colored brochure to potential than employees at Hyundai, Jeep or BMW dealerships.
"This year's record high PSI results show that today's dealership employees work harder than ever to be helpful to car shoppers," President and CEO of Pied Piper, Fran O'Hagan said.
