The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 has rolled out in almost all the major U.S. wireless carriers. The Android-based smartphone was finally launched at AT&T, and now Verizon is the only carrier remaining, who is currently planning to ship on July 10.

The Samsung’s flagship model, unveiled in Europe late May, has excited the Android fans. The phone was first scheduled to be launched on June 21 in two of the wireless carriers in the U.S. market, but many had to adjust their release due to its overwhelming popularity.

AT&T was originally planning to have the phone available in store on June 28, but had to push back the date. After much delay, the smartphone finally hit AT&T yesterday.

"The addition of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to our portfolio of 4G-LTE devices gives our customers another truly cutting-edge smartphone to choose from," Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility, said in an official statement.

"With an exclusive red color this summer and the power of the nation's largest 4G network, AT&T delivers the best wireless experience for Galaxy S3 fans."

Verizon Wireless is now the only carriers who have not released the Galaxy S3. According to a recent statement from the company, the phone will be available on July 10.

"Verizon Wireless and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) today announced that the 4G LTE-powered Samsung Galaxy S® III will be available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at www.verizonwireless.com/galaxys3 starting July 10," wrote Verizon.

However, Verizon website still has the “Will ship by 7/11” tag next to Galaxy S3 model.

Samsung Galaxy S3 has a 4.8-inch screen with HD Super AMOLED display. It will be equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor in the U.S. market, unlike the international version which has the quad-core Exynos processor. It had been reported that Samsung chose dual-core processor over quad-core because of the 4G LTE compatibility, which is supported in the U.S. models.

The device will sport Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the moment, but it may be possible to expect an upgrade to 4.1 Jelly Bean later this year. It also comes with a 8.0-megapixle rear and 1.9-megapixle front cameras.
