A rival to the likes of BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class, the stunning sport sedan named "Alfa Romeo Giulia" produced by the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo has now been revealed and is expected to be for sale on October 2016. The exterior styling, interior design, full price, car specifications and other car features are now all available.
The design is sporty without resorting to cartoonish elements like big fender flares, and it's also elegant without the need for chrome embellishments. Alfa looks forward to sell 400,000 cars worldwide by 2018 although it only has 120 dealers nationwide, thus Alfa Romeo is planning to open more.
Alfa Romeo claims that this model feature is 50% front engine sophisticated set up and 50% rear wheel-drive for better handling. Suspension is independent all-around, uses control arms in the front and a multilink arrangement in back.
The top-spec model, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, has a different rear that will allow torque-vectoring via clutches. It employs a carbon-fibre drive shaft as well as aluminum alloy shock towers, suspension components, front wings and doors.
Engine options are two diesels, which is less powerful than two petrols with its special V6 Quadrifoglio's engine. But in terms of emissions and efficiency, the two diesel powertrain are the cleanest and cheapest to run.
The model has active safety systems as standard, including the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) with Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB) and pedestrian detection, Integrated Brake System (IBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and cruise control with speed limiter. They were recognized as a maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating with adult passenger protection scoring particularly highly.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia kicks off from $30000 up to $40000. That base price will give you a 2.0- liter turbo petrol engine with 197bhp and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Standard kit includes 16-inch alloys, cruise control, and a 6.5- inch multimedia screen with DAB radio, dual-zone climate control, LED tail-lamps, auto wipers and rear parking sensors.
While the price for the hot Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has the price from $65000, which is cheaper than its main rivals BMW 3 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S.
According to Auto Express, Alfa Romeo Giulia needs to impress and it did that. It will surely capture more buyers in the automotive industry.
