MacBook Pro 2012 with Retina Display is having a discount at Best Buy, with up to $140 cheaper than its original price.
The new price of a 15.4-inch MacBook Pro with 8GB of memory and 512GB drive is $2,659.99, from original price of $2,799. The most basic model had a $110 discount to $2,089.99. In addition to MacBook Pro with Retina Display, Best Buy is also cutting its price of other Apple products, including certain models of MacBook Air, iMac, and iPod.
Apple introduced the new MacBook Pro with its stunning Retina display at Worldwide Developers Conference in June at Moscone Center West in San Francisco. The new laptop received rave review from experts and public and people had to wait 3-4 weeks for their MacBook Pro to arrive.
The MacBook Pro with Retina Display has over 5 million pixels into the screen, claiming that viewers will not able to discern individual pixels. The Cupertino-based company had used Retina Display on iPhone and iPad previously, but this was the first time for a laptop to have such high-resolution display. But the resolution was not the only thing that was beefed up. It has a SSD storage instead of the conventional HDD. It comes with Thunderbolt and USB 3 ports for enhanced transfer. And the battery lasts up to 7 hours on a single charge.
So with the price cut from Best Buy, there is one more reason to crave MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
However, be sure to check the store whether the product is available. The discount applies to in-store only.
