Days after Amber Heard has filed for a divorce from her estranged husband Johnny Depp, she has requested for a restraining order from the actor claiming that he violently assaulted her.
In a report by Hollywood Life, Heard cried her eyes out during a court hearing last May 27 where she was granted the restraining order she was asking for. She was then seen a day after out and about giggling with a friend.
Accordingly, the meeting was with her legal team and they talked for hours. Heard was spotted no longer wearing her wedding ring and was seen throwing her head back at one point as she and her friend continued to laugh about something.
Depp has not yet commented on the matter but his representative said that due to the recent death of his mother and the problems being faced in his marriage, he does not want to comment on the false reports and the gossips surrounding the divorce filed by Heard.
Despite the silence, people close to Depp have commented on the abuse allegations. Us Weekly reported that his ex Vanessa Paradis penned a letter saying that her former partner was nothing but kind and loving. The 43-year-old penned a handwritten letter saying that during their 14 years of being together, he has been sensitive, loving, and loved by many. She added in her letter, "I believe with all my heart, that these recent allegations being made are outrageous." Paradis is the mother of their two children, Lily-Rose, 17, and Jack Depp, 14.
Paradis continued to claim that in the years that they have been together, he has never been physically abusive with her, E! News reported.
Lily-Rose also took to Instagram to say that her father is the sweetest and most loving person she knows. She wrote this alongside a throwback photo of her and her father.
