Radio Flyer is giving kids a chance to join in on the Tesla craze with a Model S made just for them.
The toy company behind the classic red wagon is launching a kid-sized Model S that, just like the electric luxury sedan, is powered by a lithium-ion battery, and paying an extra $50 will get consumers "50 percent more playtime" than the standard battery, according to TechCrunch.
While the regular Model S can travel from 0-60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds, the miniature sedan has a top speed of 6 mph, and parents will have the option to limit that to 3 mph, ABC News reported.
Owners will be able to customize their car's color, with options including "Midnight Silver Metallic," "Deep Blue Metallic" and "Red Multi-Coat." Paying an extra $15 will allow them to upgrade to "Silver Turbine Wheels." Radio Flyer's other offerings include $15 Tesla-branded license plates, a $25 parking sign and a $50 indoor car cover.
The downside is that the kids version doesn't come with any of Tesla's self-driving technology or the Ludicrous Mode, Engadget noted.
The Model S for Kids is available for pre-order now for $499, and shipping is scheduled to begin in May.
