Honda joined other automakers unveiling their concept cars at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show with the debut of its Wander Stand Thursday, reported World Car Fan.
The conceptual mobility vehicle has space for two passengers, and occupants control the navigation through voice-based controls, reported Engadget. The innovative vehicle is also capable of driving itself.
The Japanese automaker included futuristic features in the Wander Stand, such as the ability to display information on the windshield above the dashboard, Autoblog noted.
The Wander Stand has a pod-like structure with partial doors and an infotainment system, according to World Car Fans.
The compact vehicle is 72.8 inches tall, 49.2 inches wide, and 78.4 inches long, Autoblog reported. Honda's Omni Traction Drive System allows the Wander Stand to move backward and forward and to drive laterally or diagonally.
The Wander Stand “was designed to pursue the joy and freedom of mobility under the concept of the ‘WANDER = wander around freely,’” Honda stated.
While it's not clear when the Wander Stand will be available for sale, you can see it in action at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show until Sunday, Nov. 8 at Tokyo Big Sight In Ariake, Kotu-ku, Tokyo.
