Remember those kids in high school that would pull onto campus in a brand new Mustang or BMW that mom and dad bought? Well, they made an exclusive dating website.
Supercar Dating is a U.K.-based website that connects car enthusiasts, and after much success overseas, it will be expanding to America, Car Buzz reports. The dating site puts together lavish networking events at comedy clubs, nightclubs and even days at the track. According to its website, Supercardating.com, it "is the World's first website that enables successful supercar/ high performance car owners to share their luxury lifestyle in a dating and social networking arena with Fine Living Companions."
Created in 2013, its founder, Sangeeth Segaram, is a 33-year-old property developer. He owns a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster and decided to create the site for wealthy people who simply do not have the time to be on the conventional dating scene. According to the site, "women he spoke to, found men on some wealthy dating sites either pretend to be wealthy/successful or lacked common interests." No Toyota Prius owners allowed on this site, as your supercar ownership will be verified.
The website incorporates supercar themes into its basic features. For example, the "ignition" is the log-in module, "rev it" is equivalent to a "like," while "track date" means you want to request an instant date. "We are driven to be The Ultimate Global Millionaire Online Dating and Social Networking Site with a Supercar Lifestyle Touch by year 2020," the website states.
The site will expand to the United States and Canada in 2016, according to The Richest.
