The issue:
Honda is recalling more than 1 million vehicles made between 2001 and 2007 over defective Takata air bag inflators.
The cars:
-2001-2005 Civic sedans
-2003-2007 Accord sedans
The fix:
Company dealers are being told to repair all air bag inflators in affected vehicles, free of charge to the customers. Reuters reports that Honda has replaced 1.99 million inflators in recalled vehicles as of last week.
Injuries or accidents:
No injuries or accidents have been linked to the latest recall. More than 100 injuries and seven deaths have been linked to the issue so far.

Number of Models Affected:
Approximately 1.39 million vehicles are involved in Honda's latest recall. This brings the total number of recalled Accord and Civics with faulty front passenger-side air bags to 2.3 million.
