British fashion designer Victoria Beckham tries her luck in car design and lends her ideas to Range Rover for their concept model Evoque, which was presented at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show on Sunday
According to references, the former Spice Girls got inspiration from soccer star David Beckham, who is Victoria's husband. At least he was in her mind when she designed the concept Evoque.
“I’ve designed the car which can be driven on the road. The car is of my dreams and the car I think I would love to drive. It’s the same car my husband wants to drive. It’s car that can be driven by everyone,” said Vitoria Beckham to media at the auto show.
"Throughout the process we were keen to ensure that the vehicle would appeal equally to both men and women, in fact Victoria always maintained that she wanted David [Beckham] to be proud to drive this car. We fully enjoyed working with Victoria and I am confident this special edition will appeal to discerning luxury consumers globally," wrote Range Rover in its official statement.

After the launch of the concept Evoque on Sunday, Victoria said that she never had any concept design in her mind before.
“With working on the car design for all these months, I have certainly learnt immensely on the technical specification. Along the way I have also done lot of research on various cars, planes, boats in different locations. I think I will consider myself blessed for getting this job of designing cars and working with experts,” said Victoria.
The special edition of the Evoque features the hand-painted matt paint which is first of its sort in Range Rover type vehicle.
