Hyundai Motors America expects to make an all-time sales record in March.
According to the South Korean auto industry, 65,000 vehicles will be sold by the end of the month, signaling a success in the car-marking business and increasing demand for Hyundai products.
“March is shaping up to be our best sales month ever,” said Dave Zuchowski, Hyundai Motor America’s executive vice president of national sales. “We expect to sell 50 percent more of our 40-mpg highway vehicles than we sold in March 2011 as customers recognized that Hyundai is the place to shop for the best selection of high mileage cars.”
According to the EPA, Hyundai is considered to be the most fuel-efficient automaker in the United States. Some of the popular products with 40-mpg highway include Accent, Veloster M/T, Elantra, and hybrid Sonata.
The Costa Mesa, Calif.-based company has more than 800 dealerships across the nation. Hyundai provides one of the best warranty programs in the nation, with 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle warranty and 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, attracting new vehicle customers.
