Will James Bond really be Agent 007 if he isn't driving an Aston Martin?
The spy franchise is expected to release details about the latest Bond adventure tomorrow, detailing the new film's title and cast as well as a potential plot outline, Jalopnik reported.
The big tease for the upcoming movie will be live-streamed from the 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios on Thursday, according to Variety.
Predictably, rumors are flying about the 24th James Bond picture, which will reportedly feature scenes shot in Rome and Morocco. Andrew Scott, known for playing the villain Moriarty in BBC's "Sherlock," is rumored to be part of the cast, and Sam Smith of "Stay with Me" fame is said to be contributing a song to the soundtrack. (Take those last two with a grain of salt.)
But about that car--Bond will be driving a Fiat 500 during a high-speed chase scene that will be shot in February or March, Sky News reported. Three pivotal action scenes will be shot in Rome, and one car will end up in the River Tiber.
Bond got around in an Aston Martin DB5 in 2012's "Skyfall," but (spoiler alert) his British luxury ride didn't survive the film, getting blown up during the climax.
Keep in mind that Bond may only drive the Fiat 500 for part of the movie. Jalopnik has additionally reported that the famous fictional spy will get an all-new Aston Martin in the upcoming film, which will star Daniel Craig in his fourth time playing Bond.
