Luxury carmaker Bentley has teased the new 2016 Bentley SUV with a video showing the production version of the upcoming model.
Expected to arrive at dealerships in early 2016, the SUV is yet to be named, and Bentley hasn't released information about pricing or specifications. The 1-minute teaser has the luxury model in the desert, showcasing its lush handcrafted interior.
"The new Bentley SUV is changing how people think about all-terrain vehicles," the automaker said in a statement accompanying the new YouTube video. "In the eyes of Bentley, the SUV is not just supremely capable in any environment, it is also supremely comfortable--and with new vistas on the world, you will see through new eyes."
The SUV will compete with the BMW X5, Land Rover Range Rover Sport and Porsche Cayenne, and the U.S. will be one of its key markets, according to Edmunds.com.
The 2016 Bentley, which will be built in Crewe, England, marks the carmaker's fourth model line, Edmunds reported.
"It will be the most luxurious and powerful SUV on the market, setting it apart from any other SUV, true to the brand hallmarks of luxury, performance, quality and craftsmanship," the automaker said in a statement earlier this year.
