Maserati North America posted its best October ever last month, with 1,227 retail units sold, representing a 258 percent year-over-year increase.
The feat marks another great month for the automaker, the twenty-first consecutive month of sales increases in America, to be exact.
Maserati's Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans, which are available with "Q4" all-wheel drive offering four-seasons versatility, continued to enjoy strong sales as the winter weather approaches, according to a company release.
Those popular vehicles, along with the GranTurismo (coupe) and GranTurismo Convertible, the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans all benefit from updates for the 2015 model year.
The automaker said updated 2015 model year vehicles are on their way to showrooms across the country.
"Reflecting the broader appeal and versatility of the expanded model range and its exceptional performance and style, Maserati has recorded its best October ever," says Peter Grady, President & CEO of Maserati North America, Inc., according to the release. "We anticipate continued growth this holiday season as Maserati holds its firm footing. In its one-hundred year history, the brand has never been more relevant than today," says Grady.
For MY2015, the highest-specification Quattroporte GTS arrives with features to make it more recognizable as the flagship of the range.
Specs include a potent twin-turbo V8 producing 523HP, a refreshed trident badge and red accented wheel center caps designed to differentiate the GTS. Both the GTS and all-wheel drive Quattroporte S Q4 now come with Black Piano lacquered trim and contrast stitching, according to the automaker.
The Ghibli also comes with new enhancements for MY2015, like Bluetooth and navigation, which have become standard on the rear wheel drive Ghibli. A brand new standard brake caliper finish and contrast stitching are also available on Ghibli and Ghibli SQ4.
Owners will receive a three-month subscription to the SiriusXM "All Access" package, which is now available to customers who purchase any new GranTurismo, Quattroporte and Ghibli vehicles, according to the automaker..
The full MY2015 product line will be on display at California during the highly-anticipated Los Angeles Auto Show on November 21, 2014.
