Play 9 Hours of Tetris on This Business Card (VIDEO)

Developer Kevin Bateske has created what may be the world's coolest business card: a 1.6-millimeter game device that lets you play Tetris for nine hours on a single battery.

The size of a business card, Bateske's Arduboy device is similar to a Game Boy and based on an Arduino board, Gizmodo reported.

Bateske notes on his website that the gadget is "easily slid from a wallet." He simplified the hardware as much as possible, using a circuit board as a frame and ensuring that the other elements had similar thicknesses.

"I was on a quest to remove all but the most necessary of filter capacitors and current limiting resistors," Bateske wrote on the site. "With a very limited set of electrical engineering skills, I set to work. Replicating the schematics according to the reference diagram, I removed parts one by one until the circuit no longer functioned."

After reworking the basic circuit board, Bateske developed one that was as simple as possible while still including a working four-way controller, buttons and a small LED display.

You should be able to play Tetris for at least nine hours on the device's battery before needing a new one, Gizmodo reported.

Bateske's next plans include releasing the design files and source code for the device through a crowdfunded campaign. He hopes someday to sell the gadgets as kits. Making an Arduboy costs around $820 because of the necessary license, Bateske said on the site.
