A new Jaguar C-X17 concept with a Liquid Gold exterior paint job debuted at the2013 Guangzhou Auto Show.
The five-seat concept is Jaguar's first crossover vehicle, according to a company press release.
The vehicle's predecessor, which debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, was a four-seat model with a blue paint job.
Jaguar expects to rollout its new crossover sometime in 2015.
The C-X17 will likely compete with vehicles like the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and the 2015 Porsche Macan. The Macan, which debuted this month at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
"New ultra-luxurious, five-seater version of C-X17 debuts at 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show, further highlighting the versatility of Jaguar's sports crossover concept for the urban environment", said the carmaker in a press release.
Customers can expect the C-X17 to come with "British-inspired" interior finishes and materials, and a Meridian in-car 3D surround sound system, according to the automaker.
Jaguar's new concept was designed for the Chinese market, and the automaker isn't sure if it will be released in the U.S. yet.
