Director James Wan confirmed this week that Tyrese Gibson will appear in next installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise.
Wan tweeted about a production meeting that lasted about 6 hours and then posted a picture of himself with the singer/actor.
The franchise's new director also tweeted a photo of himself with Gibson as the meeting ended.

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jason Statham have all been confirmed for the seventh movie, but more actors are expected to come aboard before filming begins.

Rousey, who has no previous acting credits, will appear in "The Expendables 3" before filming begins for "Fast and Furious 7."
The fighter and Universal are currently still in negotiations as of press time, but it's widely expected that she'll be added on and asked to shoot with the crew in Atlanta this September.
Other actors rumored to join the cast includes Halle Berry, Taylor Lautner, and Rihanna.
Gibson commented on the rumor that Berry might join the cast back in June, as he feels the former Oscar winner would be a perfect fit for the next movie.
"She does these big franchise type movies," Gibson said according to HNGN. "We've seen Jordana pregnant, she's pregnant right now. We could really make use of Halle Berry in this movie. Give me some of that Halle Berry bottom lip c'mon."
Statham appeared at the very end of "Fast and Furious 6" and will likely be the next villain.
