iPhone 6 Release Date Rumors: New Phone Will Come Between Sept. 22 and Dec. 20?

Apple said this week that iOS 7 and iPhone 6 will arrive sometime this fall, but that could mean anytime between September and December according to StableyTimes.com.

Fall technically runs from September 22 through December 20, so iPhone 6 hopefuls may have to wait until Christmas time.

The iPhone 4S was released in mid October, where as the iPhone 5 was released in September.

Based on the last two releases, Apple could either move up a month and release the iPhone 6 around Thanksgiving time, or it could stick with September.

Apple sold 2 million units of the iPhone 5 in just 24 hours after it was released, meaning they'd have no problem releasing a new device during the same time period again, but a holiday release could also be huge for the company.

A recent report indicated the next device will come September 20 during a "scheduled media event" set for Sept. 10.

As soon as iOS 7 is done, Apple will then start sending out invites to its next big event to officially debut the new operating system, along with other products like the new iPod Touch and possibly the new iPhone.

Current specs that have been rumored for the new device include an A7 quad core processor and a larger storage capacity. The iPhone 6 is rumored to come in 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB options according to the International Business Times.

Another unconfirmed feature includes wireless charging as one of the more common complaints about the iPhone 5 is its battery capability.

So when do you think the next device will be out?
