Pandora Now Available in Over 100 Different Car Models

Pandora, the leading internet radio service, announced this week new in-car milestones that demonstrates the companies continued growth and "momentum" in the automotive business.

The company has seen over 2.5 million activations through integrations from 23 top automotive brands and 8 aftermarket manufacturers according to a company press release.

"The vehicle is the traditional home of radio and thanks to our deep roster of forward-thinking automotive partners, Pandora has been seamlessly incorporated into the dash of more than 100 different vehicle models made available by our partners," Pandora Chief Marketing Officer Simon Fleming-Wood said in a press statement.

Half of all radio listening takes place in the car and the ability to deliver Pandora through a vehicle's dash system has remained one of the company's top priorities since announcing their first automotive brand partnership with Ford three years ago.

Since then the company estimates that one-third of all new cars sold in 2013 in the U.S. will have Pandora installed.

Over 100 different models are currently available with Pandora from companies like BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota.

We're thrilled that millions of people are enjoying Pandora through these integrations, which make listening to personalized internet radio as easy as AM/FM radio," said Fleming-Wood.
