After originally stating that the Kia Sedona would not return after the 2012 model, the company revealed this week that the minivan will rejoin the Joliet Kia lineup in 2014.
Everything about the redesigned model will be new from interior updates and even the tires according to a Kia press release.
Among the unchanged features includes the 3.5-l V6 engine that is capable of producing 269hp and 246 lb-ft of torque.
The engine is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission and is capable of producing approximately 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway according to Kia.
Kia also provided its new vehicle a custom grille that's a little bigger than its predecessor while also adding LED lamps and fog lamps.
Kia said that 17-inch wheels are standard with the new minivan.
The Sedona returns with two options levels: Base Sedona LX, which is priced at $26,750, including $850 for destination and handling, and the leather-lined Sedona EX is priced at $31,750. Both options are approximately $1,000 more compared to the 2012 model.
Standard features includes: SiriusXM radio, Bluetooth, a backup warning sensor, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls, among other features.
Sedona EX models receive leather seats, power driver's and front passenger's seats, and a backup camera to name a few.
A power sunroof, rain-sensing wipers and a navigation system are optional for certain packages.
