The Samsung Galaxy S4 narrowly edged out Apple's iPhone 5 in DxO Labs mobile-phone camera test.
The test results showed that the Android device had a score of 75, where as the iPhone 5 finished with a 72.
Both phones were beat out by the Nokia 808 Pureview, which scored a 77, but experts believe the test scores won't help Nokia sell more phones due to its Symbian operating system.

Smartphone companies like Apple and Samsung have listened to their customers regarding camera quality, as most people will decide on a phone based on how good the device's camera is, among other features.
People have become used to not only taking phones with their phones, but editing them, emailing them to friends and family, and posting them on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Having a network to complete all of those tasks is just as important, which is why even though the Nokia phone is the best regarding camera quality, more people will chose an Android or iOS device.

The newest Samsung phone beat out the iPhone in most categories including still photos and videos. The iPhone 5 did win a few major tests however as its video stabilization was better and the device suffered fewer image-processing issues according to DxO Labs.
One of the main issues with the Samsung phone was that it suffered greatly from noise and the camera often over-sharpened images.
