Why 2018 Jaguar E-Pace Is 'An SUV That Promises To Entertain'

Jaguar has officially unveiled the teaser photos showing the final design of the upcoming E-Pace. The description boasts that the new model "is an SUV that promises to entertain."

On the official website of the automaker, Jaguar fans can now have a first glance on the final design of the new E-Pace. The announcement also teases that the new SUV "is designed to excite the senses." It also boasts its advantage on the "head-turning looks with agility and performance."

It remains to be seen how the new SUV will stimulate the senses. Official specs are yet to be revealed on July 13. As of press time, Jaguar has only posted two images of the new E-Pace.

One photo shows the upcoming small SUV in a red accent color format. It gives a full view of the side of the new Jaguar E-Pace. The new model in white body paint reveals its sporty yet stylish form.

Another photo on the wall paper of the E-Pace page gives a clearer image of the taillights. The image shows only a small portion of the rear section covering the taillight, the E-Pace badge and a side mirror peeking from the front.

Meanwhile, Jaguar has also sent out a press release providing some details of the new SUV. The 2018 Jaguar E-Pace will hit the showrooms early in 2018.

With regard to pricing, the base model starts at $38,600. The standard model will be an all-wheel drive system and with a gas engine.

Speculations predict that the new E-Pace will also have a 2.0-liter turbocharged in-line four engine, similar to its siblings. The theory stems from the note in the press release specifying "an all-Ingenium line-up of petrol engines." Moreover, it is also speculated that the automaker might use the new SUV as the launch platform for its highly anticipated inline six engine.

The 2018 Jaguar E-Pace has been confirmed to have its official launch on July 13. Watch out for more updates in our next report.
