The Renault Sandero RS Racing Spirit is one interesting limited edition of a hatch. Does it come with surprises enough to make car enthusiasts and industry experts easily become a fan? It is one hot hatch, a naturally aspirated one that many experts prefer, hopefully.

The Renault Sandero RS Racing Spirit was recently introduced at the Buenos Aires Motor Show. Considered as one of the event's showstoppers, its 17-inch alloys, Michelin PS4 tires, red brake clippers and much more were all showcased during the event.

The surprise just doesn't stop there. It is powered by a 2.0-liter atmospheric four-cylinder engine, which is responsible for producing 145-horsepower. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Right, this is nowhere near breaking any records at "The Ring," but it does serve its purpose, whatever it is.

The surprise may not come entirely as good news. For Renault Sandero RS Racing Spirit's case, the surprise comes in the form of disappointment for being named as such but not living up to it. With Racing Spirit as its name, it is expected to at least come fast enough, however, that is not the case for Sandero RS. It is a little sluggish for its name, accelerating from zero to 62 mph in 8.5-seconds with a top speed of 124.

The Racing Spirit is unique in its own right. There will only be 1,500 units ever to be sold. Each of the units will have a unique numeric plaque next to the handbrake lever. Its Standard equipment does have the Michelin tires, which are key contributors to its speed (or lack thereof).

Its speed may be disappointing, however, the Sandero RS Racing Spirit's aesthetics don't disappoint. It comes with LED daytime running lights, automatic air conditioning, and front electric windows. It will also come with seven-inch infotainment system with navigation, parking sensors, hill climb assist and cruise control.
