Google Drive 1.3.0 for iOS was released today, April 8, which allows Apple owners to flip their iPhone on its side when editing a Google document according to a report by SlashGear.
The new feature was designed to change the way people edit documents and spreadsheets on smartphone devices, allowing people on the go to get their work done quicker than ever.

Google also insures users that loading times and editing in general will be quicker according to a company press release.
The app has been designed to be used on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices running iOS 5.0 or higher.
The update also reduces the time it takes to find, access and open files in a users Drive account.
Minor bugs that users have complained about with the previous update has also been fixed by Google.
Google released Quickoffice for iPhone and Android last week to go with an iPad app launched back in December. Edits can be made to files using Quickoffice, and those files can be saved back to Google Drive according to Google.
Users can also share any file they want to with contacts.
Back when 1.2.2 was released back in January with the capability to upload multiple videos and photos. Users were disappointed by the fact that Google didn't improve editing spreadsheets and presentations, which became the focal point for the newest update.
